Inception of the NJ Center for Global Equity

Today marks the starting point of yet another organizing effort to build people power through education and community building.

The political climate in the United States for too long has been influenced by the interests of the corporations and lobbyists that line the pockets of the politicians that have continued to fail us at every opportunity. Within the last few years, it's been made extraordinarily apparent that the changes we need will not be brought to us by a corrupt pay-to-play electoral system.

We need to take power back by building people powered alternatives to resource distribution and safety, guided by the historical examples of our predecessors. As we work on proving that there are better methods to distributing resources that empower the majority of people and improve their quality of life, we simultaneously build a solid foundation of support and power in order to take on and replace this corrupt system.
